CS Executive Eligibility, Pattern and Subjects
- The candidate must have qualified for the CSEET exam to be eligible for the CS executive 2 or
- The candidate must be eligible for the CS executive exemption category.
The mode of the exam will be paper and pen-based i.e. offline. For objective questions, the candidates will be provided with the OMR sheets and for subjective papers, the candidates will be provided normal answer sheets of sixteen pages. The candidates will have the option to choose a language for subjective papers from Hindi and English, as per the CS executive exam pattern. For objective papers the questions will be asked only in the English language, there will be no option to choose the language of the exam question paper. The option to choose the language should be confirmed at the time of filling the CS executive examination form.
As per the marking scheme of CS executive level, the following conditions are followed:
- Both the objective and subjective paper will be of 100 marks each.
- There will be a negative marking of -0.25 mark for every wrong answer.
- The candidates will have to score a minimum of 40 marks in each subject to qualify for the exam.
- The aggregate total should be a minimum of 200 for each module to qualify the CS executive level.
- For both groups, the total should be 400 minimum to qualify the complete level.

If you’re a graduate or postgraduate or have completed a course from ICAI/ICMAI, you don’t need to take the CSEET exam.
Your registration as a CS student is valid for five years from the month you register for the Executive Programme. If it expires after five years, you’ll need to renew it until you complete the Professional Programme Stage.
